Chatrapathi marks the Bollywood debut of actor Sreenivas Bellamkonda. The film also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Bhagyashree.
After making a notable mark in the Southern film industry, Sreenivas Bellamkonda is ready to set foot in Bollywood, with the highly anticipated Chatrapathi. The film is the official Hindi remake of SS Rajamouli’s Telugu blockbuster which also bears the same name. Produced by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios, the creators recently dropped the trailer for the same, giving audiences a taste of the high-octane action and a heavy dose of in-store entertainment.
Directed by VV Vinayak, the film has been edited on a larger than life scale and is written by SS Rajamouli’s father and veteran writer, V. Vijayendra Prasad, known for his notable work in films like RRR, the Baahubali series and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
From the grand-scale visuals to the stunts, from the chemistry between Bellamkonda and Nushrratt Bharuccha, from the up-tempo choreography and catchy music, to the captivating storyline, the Chatrapathi trailer is guaranteed to have you wanting more. Bhagyashree plays a central role in the film, driving the narrative forward.

Chatrapathi’s star-studded cast created a buzz among the media and fans at the massive trailer launch in Mumbai today. The film’s main stars Sreenivas Bellamkonda and Nushrratt Bharuccha made a grand entrance and amped up the excitement with their performance on the film’s catchy track ‘Bareilly Ke Bazaar’.
The film is released nationwide on May 12, 2023.
