Sachin Tendulkar performed aarti with the family on the festive occasion on Ganesh Chaturthi and posted a video on his social media account.
Batting great Sachin Tendulkar wished fans on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi as he shared a video on his Instagram account on Tuesday. The people around India welcomed Lord Ganesha, marking the start of the Ganeshotsav festival all over the country. Tendulkar performed aarti with the family on the festive occasion and posted a video on his social media account.
“Lord Ganesha will bring us all peace, happiness and good health as we bring him home. Wishing everyone a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi!” Tendulkar wrote on Instagram

Tendulkar’s good friend and his opening partner of cricketing days Virender Sehwag also posted a message for fans on the occasion.
“Pranamy Shirsa Devam Gauri Putram Vinayakam Bhaktavasam Smarennityam Aayuhkamartha Siddhaye. May Lord Ganesha bless you with wisdom, intelligence, prosperity, happiness, and succes. Ganpati Bappa Morya , Mangal Murti Morya,” Sehwag wrote.
India captain Rohit Sharma also posted a message on Instagram as he uploaded an image performing aarti.
Meanwhile, Tendulkar was presented with the ‘Golden Ticket’ by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah ahead of the ICC ODI World Cup set to take place in October-November.
