Rajat Patidar shared a picture of himself on social media after undergoing surgery, and RCB wished the Madhya Pradesh striker a speedy recovery.
Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman Rajat Patidar has undergone successful surgery and the mid-ranked batsman is hoping for a speedy recovery. Patidar shared a photo of himself after undergoing surgery and his RCB teammate Virat Kohli also reacted to the photo on Instagram.
Patidar had previously been ruled out of the ongoing 2023 IPL campaign due to an Achilles heel injury, and in his absence, RCB’s interim order has failed to live up to its billing.

Patidar shared a lengthy note on social media revealing that he underwent surgery on an issue that has been bothering him for some time. Moreover, the 29-year-old is aiming for a quick return to full fitness.
“Just wanted to give a quick update to all of my supporters out there. I recently had surgery for an injury that has been plaguing me for a while now, but I’m happy to say it went well and I’m on the road to recovery! I can’t wait to get back on the pitch and do what I love the most. Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes, they mean the world to me. Back soon!” Patidar wrote on social media.

The post also caught the attention of Virat Kohli who liked the same, and Suyash Prabhudessai also wished his teammate a speedy recovery.
“Champion of the speedy recovery,” Prabhudessai commented on the photo.
Reposting the photo, RCB tweeted: “Good to hear about the successful surgery Ra-Pa. We can’t wait to see you again in RCB colors next year! Sending you all my love and my best wishes !”
Patidar had been a key figure for RCB last season, helping the franchise qualify for the playoffs last year, in fact the Madhya Pradesh hitter shattered a century in the IPL 2022 playoff game between Lucknow Super Giants and RCB , who eliminated LSG from the tournament.

This season the likes of Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell have done most of the scoring for RCB while the remaining mid-range hitters have struggled and also veteran wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik looks the part. shadow of his former self.
