Anushka Sharma to star as Jhulan Goswami in upcoming biopic based on legendary Indian cricketer’s life
As Anushka Sharma turns 35 on Monday, legendary Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami decided to mark the occasion by penning a throwback clip of the two.
“Most Happy Birthday, Anushka Sharma. Whether on screen or off, you always give your best and it was a great pleasure to be with you on the pitch! Sending you love love,” Jhulan tweeted while sharing an old video of his amusing interaction with the Bollywood actress.

The clip is from December last year when Jhulan and Anushka shared a heartwarming moment.
In the video, Anushka can be seen cutting a cake with the former Team India skipper after wrapping filming for the upcoming biopic about Jhulan’s career. Chakda’Xpress.
In January last year, Anushka announced that she would play the role of Jhulan in the upcoming film based on the life and career of the Indian star/
The film is expected to premiere on Netflix by the end of this year.
Jhulan remains the highest wicket taker in women’s ODIs. After playing 204 games, the 40-year-old scalped 255 wickets in 50 plus format.

Apart from her outstanding bowling performance, Jhulan has done a commendable job as the captain of the India women’s team. In 2007, she was named ICC Player of the Year.
She was awarded the Arjuna Award three years later and retired from international cricket last year after the conclusion of the ODI series against England.
Jhulan capped off his Test career with 44 wickets to his name.
Star India rapper Virat Kohli also offered a touching message to mark that of his wife Anushka.

“I love you through thick, thin and all your cute madness. Happy birthday my all Anushka Sharma,” Kohli wrote.
Kohli and Anushka tied the knot in December 2017. The power couple welcomed daughter Vamika in January 2021.
“When you come back from a space like this. It’s easy to immediately say “Ah, everything is so good and it’s fine”. That’s why I say Anushka’s name first because she saw the challenges of being in this position,” the former Indian skipper said of his equation with Anushka.
