Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal along with permanent skipper Rishabh Pant couldn’t hide their emotions after the franchise picked up a hard-fought victory over Gujarat Titans in IPL 2023. Jindal was in attendance at the stadium Narendra Modi of Ahmedabad and after Ishant Sharma’s latest exploits helped DC win the game by 5 points, the co-owner could barely control his emotions as he let out a huge roar, while Pant praised his teammates on Instagram.
The game was full of tight margins, David Warner’s side could only muster a total of 130 points after striking first, after being troubled by the sensational 4/11 spell of Mohammed Shami which earned to the Indian pacer the “player of the match” award.

Aman Hakim Khan broke a fifty and Axar Patel along with Ripal Patel added some valuable runs to help DC to a fight-worthy total after Shami’s plight left the higher order completely exposed.
In return, Delhi managed to limit Gujarat to 125/6, thus winning the match by 5 points in the final. It was another close fight that went to the wire, GT skipper Hardik Pandya broke a fifty and Rahul Tewatia broke three back-to-back sixes against Anrich Norjte in the penultimate round of the match.

David Warner therefore turned to the experience Ishant Sharma to defend 12 runs in the final over, the veteran Indian pacer not only gave away just 6 runs but also snagged the crucial wicket from Tewatia in his over.
It was a rollercoaster of emotions and Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal was elated after DC’s win, a video that went viral on social media showed Jindal celebrating the victory with a huge roar.
