Ayushmann Khurran talks about his role in Article 15
Ayushmann Khurrana played the role of a cop in director Anubhav Sinha.
Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most bankable actors in the industry. He has created a special place in the hearts of his audience with his acting skills. The actor is also known for the kind of quirky films he chooses. Well, today at a press conference he talked about his best character he’s played so far on screen and how it affected him on a personal level.
The video, shared by news agency ANI, shows the Bheed actor praising his role as Ayan Ranjan in Article 15. “I’m thinking of Ayan Ranjan in Article 15. It’s the only film that has a certain dark among all my films. I think it was something new for me. I was initiated into the caste and it was something that really affected me on a personal level. I think throughout the filming of Article 15, I was not my usual chubby self. ..It was too much, and I’m glad to have been introduced to this world and this realm. And it was a first induction for the public, Hindi cinema lover in a commercial space on caste. In the future, there will be more representation not in terms of films, but also actors, directors and technicians.

Article 15, released in 2019, is directed and produced by Anubhav Sinha. It stars Ayushmann Khurrana as a cop who investigates the disappearance of three girls from a small village. Nassar, Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra, Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sushil Pandey, Veen Harsh and Sumbul Touqeer were seen in the supporting role. The film received acclaim from critics and audiences.
On the work side, Ayushmann was recently seen in Doctor G by Anubhuti Kashyap alongside lead Rakul Preet Singh. It was released in theaters on October 14, 2022. Next, the actor will star in Dream Girl 2 with Ananya Panday. The film is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Ekta Kapoor. Its theatrical release is scheduled for June 29, 2023.
