Take a look at West Indies all-rounder, Fabian Allen’s newest celebration which he dished out in the CPL which showcases his footwork.

Celebrations in cricket have been a theme that always excites fans. West Indies cricketers are known for their unique celebrations. Whether it is Sheldon Cottrell’s Salute to Dwayne Bravo’s dance moves, the Caribbean players have always found a way to entertain the fans.

Recently, a video of another West Indies cricketer, Fabian Allen has got the internet talking. Allen showcased his dancing talent as he performed a unique dance move after taking a wicket in the Caribbean Premiere League match between St Lucia Kings and Jamaica Tallawahs. The Caribbean Premiere League took to their social media handle to share Allen’s celebration. “Fabian Allen is on fire… and so are his feet,” read the post accompanying the video.

Allen’s celebration caught fans’ attention and the post soon went viral. The all-rounder was not the first West Indian to go viral for his celebration. Dwayne Bravo, a T20I legend and one of the best West Indian all-rounders, started the “Champion” trend. In addition, Imran Tahir’s long sprints after every wicket were his iconic move.

While taking on the St. Lucas King in the Eliminators of the CPL 2023, the Tallawahs captain Brandon King decided to bowl first. But the Kings’ innings was derailed from the start. Chris Green was bowling good lines and dismissed two of the top 3 batters for a cheap score. Tallawahs were fully on the charge as they had half of the Kings’ batting line-up back in the pavilion with just 65 runs on the board.

Then the duo of Rostan Chase and captain, Sikandar Raza started building a partnership which was stabilizing their innings. But Fabian Allen planned something different, and the West Indies all-rounder brought out his A-game when the Jamaican Tallawahs needed it the most. He dismissed both Kings’ batters in a single over, completely turning the game in the favour of the Tallawahs.

Allen went on to take two more wickets as he ended up with figures of 4 wickets for just 25 runs in his 4 overs. He was awarded the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance in the match.

The Tallawahs will now be facing the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Qualifier 2. The winner of this house will proceed to the finals to face the Trinbago Knight Riders on September 25.
